Job description


The functionality tester will be in charge of testing the client’s products (video games) on all kinds of platforms (consoles, online games, social networks) by executing test cases. The bugs found will have to be reported in a database and entered in the test suite.


Main responsibilities


·         Test the products by following the test suite;

·         Execute test cases;

·         Report bugs in the database;

·         Follow up on them


Requirements


·         At least one year of experience as a video game tester, a must

·         Written and spoken English skills

·         Experience with console and/or PC game testing

·         Communicates efficiently, works well in a team, demonstrates strong analytical skills

·         Detail oriented

·         Knowledge of bug tracking software such as Jira, Test Track Pro and/or Devtrack, a plus

Job Overview
The QE Intern will learn how the Quality organization interfaces with the customer, regulators, and in-house departments to assure that products and services meet requirements. The QE Intern will have the opportunity to attend staff meetings, Focus Factory and Continuous Improvement meetings. They will also gain knowledge about Medical Device and Telecommunications products, industry standards, and regulations.
Responsibilities
1. Learn functional role and responsibilities of a Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer and Regulatory Manager.
2. Perform root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns.
3. Assist Quality Manager in maintaining the quality management system.
4. Participate in continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods, etc.
5. Develop control plans for internal Assembly Build Instructions.
6. Interface with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure transfer of new products into Manufacturing.
7. Support the Quality Technicians to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
8. Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audit finding reports, and determine proper corrective and preventive actions.
9. Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action assisting in response to customer complaints.
10. Create and maintain company quality documentation such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.
11. Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the over activities of receiving/outgoing quality functions.
12. Assist the Quality Receiving Inspection process.
13. Assist in the timely resolution of supplier failures, corrective actions and preventive actions.

Key Accountabilities:

Partner with the Training department to develop additional ongoing training based on QA data to eliminate unnecessary handling time and improve customer satisfaction.
Develop / enhance processes to build effective relationships between Customer Success and Product and Sales teams, ensuring constant improvement to the Rosetta Stone business and a streamlined face to the customer.
Provide quality concerns to contact center managers and other functional teams such as Learning Development and Content teams
Define and deliver improved and enhanced Customer Satisfaction loyalty metrics
